Vulvar Cancer
๐Overview
Vulvar cancer is a malignant tumor originating from the external female genitalia, primarily affecting the vulva. It is a relatively rare gynecologic cancer. The term 'vulvar cancer' is the modern preferred designation; older or less specific terms may include vulvar carcinoma. Most vulvar cancers are squamous cell carcinomas, but other histologic types exist. The disease typically develops slowly and may be associated with precancerous conditions.
